Scarce – New Album Finished, New Show Dates, & Old Footage

So my favorite female bass player Joyce Raskin tells me the new Scarce album is done, in processing, and will be out soon, which is fantastic news! More news on that as more news is available.
In the meantime, she also hipped me to some old Scarce footage shot by a friend that has surfaced on YouTube. This alternate video for “All Sideways” ran on MTV’s 120 Minutes in 1994. Enjoy!
Also, dates have been added for some Scarce gigs on the East Coast and in Nova Scotia in September, October, and November, as well as the short trek through Europe in October. Check the schedules at Last.fm or Scarce’s MySpace profile for cities and dates.
10/25/2009 UPDATE: Somehow this post never made it out of my drafts to getting posted, not sure what happened there. Anyway, here it is now, a little late (as I think this was from last year maybe)… yikes. Though I’m sure I posted something else at the time. Anyway, enjoy the video!
